Chapter 4 — Technical conditions for narrowband systems within 80 GHz high-speed wireless transmission systems
4-1 General conditions
(1) Type of radio station
Land-mobile station.
(2) Frequency bands
The frequency bands shall be 71 GHz to 76 GHz (hereafter the “73 GHz band”) and 81 GHz to 86 GHz (hereafter the “83 GHz band”).
(3) Frequency channels
The frequencies shall be as follows. All listed frequencies are in GHz.

2. Overview of narrowband systems
- They share frequency bands with the wideband systems already established under the regulatory framework: an FDD system using the 71–76 GHz and 81–86 GHz bands as a pair.
- Channel arrangements conform to ITU-R Recommendation F.2006. The above bands are used with channel widths of 250, 500, 1,000 and 2,000 MHz.
- ETSI technical standards are used as a reference for spectrum-mask limits and related requirements, specifically ETSI EN 302 217-03.
Figure 1, “Narrowband system channel arrangement,” labels the two frequency groups as 低群 (low group) and 高群 (high group).
