English title: Approach to feeder-link sharing studies for a non-geostationary satellite communications system serving mobile phones in the 1.7/1.8 GHz bands (revised). MIC-hosted Japanese PDF.

Heading: 共用検討に使用する40GHz帯公共・一般 官庁固定局のTX/RXパラメータ. English: Transmit/receive parameters for 40 GHz public/general-service government fixed stations used in the sharing study.

Subheading: Radio parameters of the relay system.

Item Transmit/receive station 1 Transmit/receive station 2
Centre frequency 37.525 GHz (37525 MHz) 38.525 GHz (38525 MHz)
Frequency bandwidth 42 MHz 42 MHz
Antenna power 50 mW 50 mW
Unwanted-emission level −13 dBm/MHz −13 dBm/MHz
Feeder loss 0 dB 0 dB
Maximum antenna gain 42.6 dBi 42.6 dBi
Antenna pattern ITU-R F.699; centre 37525 MHz; diameter 0.6 m ITU-R F.699; centre 38525 MHz; diameter 0.6 m
Antenna height 59.5 m 130.4 m
Tilt angle 4.55° upward 4.55° downward
Permissible interference criterion −95.5 dBm (NF = 12 dB, I/N = 10 dB) Same

The tilt is calculated from the stations' coordinates, a horizontal separation of 898.405 m, and antenna elevations including ground elevation of 61.7 m and 133.2 m. The accompanying pattern plot states approximately 48 dB attenuation at 90° elevation and 31 dB at 10° elevation.

This is one explicitly specified relay pair, separated by 1000 MHz, rather than a complete channel-centre table. The source labels 42 MHz as frequency bandwidth, not channel spacing. It does not establish a grid or prove a separate plan from the 25 MHz channel width in the 2014 report translation.
